Everyone who's anyone has heard of Random McEscher's runaway hit for Amaze Comics, Judge Roy Scream, Agent of S.X.S.F. Well, as part of the ever-burgeoning exodus of creators from the halls of Amaze, our pal Random has brought the good Judge and all of his S.X.S.F. companions over to INFINITE MONKEYS. Never one to hoard the good ideas (unlike the stiffy stiffersons over at Amaze), Random has agreed to let some of the brightest Book Monkeys around have a go at writing the adventures of some of the Judge's supporting cast.
Six Degrees of S.X.S.F ~ Distracted by the D.O.N.U.T.S.
Coming this June from Infinite Monkeys Press
Come join a collection of the hottest up-and-coming writers and artists around as they take us on a tour of the inner workings of the worlds foremost defense against alien invasions, the Strategic Xenological Strike Force as viewed by six of the agency's top agents.
Uphill Climb. Frequent collaborators Seth T. Jakey and Random McEscher join forces yet again to bring us this solo story of the S.X.S.F.'s most prominent agent, the sonic powered sultan of smashmouth spy-games, Judge Roy Scream. This time, McEscher is ready to finally reveal the truth behind the mysterious origin of Scream and his connection to the villainous Whiplash.
Feathered Boa. Lottie Angelique says "Hola!" to the S.X.S.F.'s fabulous femme fatale, La Vibora. The serpentine seductress has long maintained that there's not a man alive who can withstand her emasculating attacks, and so far that's proven true. But when a former victim of her grrl power reappears on the scene as the cybernetic menace known as the Tinman of Terror, our herpetological heroine may have met her match.
You Cannot Change the Laws of Physics. Idoalo Sperros places her own unique take on the high-flying hero, El Conquistador. Armed with his mystical arsenal and flying ship, El Conquistador is a true man without fear. But the valiant Conquistador suddenly finds himself powerless when the alien Skeptic Society's power of ultimate disbelief somehow disrupts all magic on Earth.
Push the button! Push, push the button! Joe Wizard and Kick Andreverk team up for an offbeat tale of the terrific Titan. While working undercover to discover the source of an intergalactic dog-napping ring, the colossal crusader finds himself trapped in the kennel of the corrupt Gorgin Gazbahg when the space-station suddenly goes into lockdown. Can the frustrated Titan keep his cool and maintain his cover, or will the pompous Gazbahg push our hero too far?
Stop saying "Same number!" Nance Rozeprof lends her unique vision to a story about the temporal crimefighter known as Flashback. Following a battle with Dreg, the sleazy slug of Sirius, our heroine finds herself stuck in a time loop. Annoyed by being made into a time-traveling cliche, the frustrated futurian struggles to break herself out of the increasingly mind-numbing loop before she loses her grip on her sanity.
Bend but not break. The writing team of Sugar Dee and Honey Buzz and newcomer artist Scooby Dignan unite for an action-packed story of the seismic swashbuckler, Shockwave. Stuck on monitor duty at the S.X.S.F. H.Q. deep inside Runaway Mountain, Shockwave is convinced that it's going to be one of the longest nights of his life. Turns out he's right, but not because of boredom. Instead, Shockwave finds himself under siege by an army of agents of the intergalactic crime syndicate D.O.N.U.T.S., including Dr. Vertiginous, The Mocker, NiteLite, and many more. Can Shockwave stand up under the pressure?

Distracted by the D.O.N.U.T.S.
An S.X.S.F. mini-series in 5 parts
When Scooby Dignan and Lottie Angelique first brought us their ideas for a new S.X.S.F. story, our Illustrious Head Monkey's first response was "Are you kidding me?!?!?!", said reaction being screamed at the top of his lungs (in a voice pitched so high it makes Michael Jackson sound like Barry White) as he banged his head repeatedly on his desk. However, after a sufficient number of brain-jarring thuds, the idea began to grow on him, and so, faster than Sugar Dee could say "Hey, hizzie and shizzie are trizying to snizzatch my tizzitle!" the next great epic in the continuing saga of the S.X.S.F. was born!
Plus, a bonus: each issue has a special "S.X.S.F. Spotlight" back-up story.
From deep within the moons of Uranus, the evil Doctor Vertiginous launches his most fiendish plot yet. Soon, Earth is besieged by a flood of attacks from the agents of D.O.N.U.T.S. (Diabolical Overlords and Nefarious Underlings' Tyrannical Society). As the valiant forces of the S.X.S.F. find themselves stretched to the breaking point trying to combat the rash of evil, some of the top agents begin to suspect that the crime sprees are merely a cover for something deeper. . .
Issue #1: Rope the Pope The Latin legionnaires known as La Vibora and El Conquistador are dispatched to steamy Miami to confront a sudden outbreak of supernatural phenomena. As the duo strain to contain the mass of fairies, gnomes, pixies, and other mischievous mystical manifestations, they stumble across a plot by the monetary magician Dinero Moss and his loyal cultists, the Red Cents, to kidnap the visiting Pope and sacrifice him to raise an undead army of Mongouls.
BONUS: Fresh from the pages of Six Degrees of S.X.S.F., see the first solo adventure of Vibora's sidekick, the flying feathered boa Verde as he struggles against the power of Moss's second-in-command, the pheromone-powered Flirtatious Jones, in The Stench of Love
Issue #2: Bigtop of Terror The vibratory vanguards Judge Roy Scream and Shockwave travel to chilly Toronto to investigate reports of strange happenings connected to a traveling circus, only to discover that it's a front for the hirsute horror from the Horsehead Nebula known as Hairball, and his murderous crew of mutant animals: Seashell, the armor-plated killer whale; Blanco, the light-polarizing polar bear; To and Fro, the super-speed butterflies with razor-sharp wings; and Beer Doggles, the hound of hallucination. Can Scream and Shock decipher the sinister circus's true purpose?
BONUS: See the origin of Hairball's most popular crew member, the intoxicating Beer Doggles, in Daze of Wine and Roses.
Issue #3: Sunshine and Lollipops The tempestuous team of Flashback and Titan are assigned to rainy Utah to investigate rumors that Dreg and Sineeta, the sleazy slugs of Sirius, have set up shop dealing their custom-made candy-coated combination of cocaine and Viagra known by the street name "jolly-pops." The trail leads to one of the Mormons' genealogical research centers, within which lies the key to Vertiginous's secret schemes.
BONUS: As long-time readers know, there's no love lost between Flashback and Dreg, and now we finally reveal the circumstances behind their first brutal encounter in Passive-Aggression!
Issue #4: Ratings Smash The Southern super-cops Wildcatter and the Texas Tornado head to a smoke-filled Amarillo to stop the rampage of third-generation villains Thyroid Larry (muscle-bound grandson of Marble McGee) and Wheeping Willow (botanical empathic offspring of Sufferin' Sassafras). The first duo of evil-doers to receive a reality-TV deal (if you don't count Rob and Amber), this Nick and Jessica of the super-villain set are cutting a swath of destruction through town all in the name of higher ratings. Will the media tire of them before the city is destroyed? Is the birth of reality TV finally going to be revealed as a sign of the coming apocalypse? And how does it all tie in with the D.O.N.U.T.S. evil machinations?
BONUS: Take a quick peek at the highest rated reality show in years as the cameras follow Wheeping Willow as she traces her family tree in a story we had to call The Calla Lilies are in Gloom Again
Issue #5: Whoops, all out of room, guess you have to buy the books to find out what happens next! Yes, we're a sneaky bunch of monkeys.
